Richard Crawford is a Senior Advisor and a member of several of InfraRed’s Investment Committees.
Richard has over 25 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector. He has spent the last 15 years focused on environmental infrastructure, including transacting and managing investments primarily in wind, solar and the wider power sectors.
Between 2013 and 2024, Richard was Head of InfraRed’s Energy Income Funds, responsible for our core focused investments within the energy sector in Europe. His primary responsibility was for the InfraRed team that advises TRIG, the LSE-listed renewables investment company co-managed by InfraRed.
In 2006, Richard also played a key role in the formation of HICL Infrastructure PLC, the LSE-listed core infrastructure investment company managed by InfraRed.
Before joining InfraRed in 2002, he was a Director in Atkins plc’s investments division and previously worked at EY.
He is also a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT).
