Mark is responsible for the asset management of numerous PFI/PPP and renewables projects across various funds that InfraRed manage.
Mark’s responsibilities include the proactive management of infrastructure assets within the InfraRed portfolio to enhance and preserve the value of these assets. He also sits on the boards of many of the asset/project companies in the UK, Europe, and Australia.
Mark leads the Asset Management team on ESG focused on the development and acquisition of new assets/projects in both primary and secondary markets. This also includes implementing Net Zero initiatives across the portfolio.
Before joining InfraRed in 2008, Mark worked for Infinis, a renewable energy company where, as Development Director, he was responsible for growing the company’s business in the Landfill Gas, Biomass and Onshore Wind sectors. Prior to Infinis, Mark worked for six years at NIBC Bank, developing its Project Equity business within the UK and European PFI/PPP markets, and had spent 19 years at Costain as Head of Private Finance Initiatives, Head of Strategic Development and in Construction Management roles on numerous projects including motorway, airport and marine projects.
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the PFI/PPP market, as well as more than 40 years of experience in infrastructure. He is also a member of the IPA Net Zero Work Group.
