Design, construct, finance and maintain a new 18,000m2 outpatient centre in British Columbia, Canada.
The Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre is a Public-Private Partnership (P3) project to design, build, finance, maintain and provide non clinical soft services within a new outpatient facility for Fraser Health Authority in the City of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Fraser Health Authority is one of six provincial health authorities that administer health care services in British Columbia.
InfraRed signed the 32.5-year concession contract on 28 August 2008.
Construction is being carried out by ByBird, a joint venture of Bouygues Building Canada Inc. and Bird Design-Build Limited, a Canadian contractor. Hard and soft Facilities Management (FM) services will be provided by ETDE Facility Management HSO Limited and Helios Group, Utilities & Facilities Management Inc. The facility is also adjacent to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) ‘E’ Division Headquarters Project, another project led by InfraRed’s Infrastructure team.
The Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre is British Columbia’s flagship comprehensive integrated outpatient care and surgery centre, which will take an holistic, patient-centred approach to care that will relieve the pressure on neighbouring inpatient facilities. It is intended to provide a model for future outpatient centres in the Lower Mainland area.
